Responsibilities:

  1. Portfolio & Solution Consulting:
    • Curate and oversee a portfolio of smart building and infrastructure solutions, encompassing building automation, IoT, energy management, data centres, and digital twin technologies.
    • Offer expert advice to clients on identifying and deploying optimal smart building technologies that align with their operational and sustainability objectives.
    • Ensure building technology solutions comply with industry standards such as LEED, WELL, or other relevant green building certifications.
  1. Client Engagement & Strategy Development:

IIoT Engineer / Manager

This role involves planning, organizing, and identifying technical risks while providing pre-sales support to the Japan sales and project engineering teams. Responsibilities include architecting solutions, integrating site systems, ensuring on-premises data connectivity, analyzing DMZ configurations, managing network latency, and establishing cloud gateways. Practical experience in end-to-end OT and IT integration is crucial.

  • Translate customer business use cases into functional requirements and map them to proposed technical requirements, including architecture, solution design, and technical approach.

Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in complex integrations from on-premises to the cloud, including network assessments, security configurations, and port connectivity in collaboration with customer IT teams.
  • Strong expertise in OT/IT data integration, covering various sensor integrations, OT systems, and IT/business system integrations.
  • Practical experience with complex data integration from diverse OEM equipment, including OT protocols such as serial, ASCII, RS485/RS232, Modbus, Profibus, Telnet, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
  • Proficiency in LoRaWAN, MQTT, and REST communication protocols.
  • Deep understanding of networking, including L3/L4 OT network structures, cloud connectivity, and fundamental security measures such as DMZ and firewalls.
  • Hands-on experience with OSI PI System and PI Historian.
  • Familiarity with various IoT platforms.
