Description

Renewable Technical Consultant is responsible for providing the end to end pre-sales support with deep technical consultancy in Key Focus area.  This encompasses grasping the business requisites and transforming them into functional needs. Devising solutions entails strategizing elements like Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), value propositions, Return on Investment (RoI), architecture, and hardware prerequisites. The incumbent must also spotlight the distinctive value proposition to enhance the likelihood of success.

KPI:

  1. Develop Renewable Applications and number of customer use them
  2. Order Intake for Renewable Energy
  3. New Customer acquired.

Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend customer business needs and expectations, formulate efficient solutions, and offer recommendations in terms of cost and time.
  • Present solutions based on historical expertise and knowledge, encompassing algorithms, analytics, etc.
  • Conduct workshops and presentations for the sales team to amplify the company’s visibility in the Renewable Energy sector and consequently bolster the opportunity pipeline.
  • Articulate the solution in writing to set it apart from competitors and accentuate its value proposition to enhance the odds of success.
  • Produce documents outlining the value proposition, including differentiation, RoI, business benefits, and promotional materials.
  • Elaborate on detailed specifications incorporating analysis, enhancements, and analytical/AI-ML aspects.
  • Perform visibility analysis, risk assessment, and implementation strategy.
  • Develop a recommended list of KPI parameters and algorithms based on client requirements.
  • Formulate recommendations for failure analysis according to client demands.
  • Provide regular training to sales and proposal teams within the region.

 Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in a similar capacity.
  • Extensive practical expertise in the specific domain of renewable energy
  • Wind-related domains, including speed, performance efficiency, vibration analysis, bearing analysis, sound analysis, temperature distribution analysis, and fish bed analysis, encompassing intricate algorithms.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, machine learning, and mathematical modeling related to wind failure modes.
  • Adeptness in meteorological measurements, weather forecasting, and power forecasting.
  • Expertise in wind site assessment and renewable plant performance analysis.
  • Experience in product development and research and development (R&D) within the wind and solar power forecasting domain.
  • Familiarity with impact analysis concerning wind operations.
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape in the renewable energy sector and the ability to strategically position for success.
  • Proactive approach to contribute to specification writing for business expansion.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly in the context of renewable energy.
  • Knowledgeable in risk strategy for renewable energy projects.
  • Familiarity with industrial code standards relevant to renewable energy.
  • Candidates with the following qualifications will be an added advantage:
    • In-depth expertise in the solar domain, covering aspects like solar data forecasting, panel maintenance, inverter cooling, transformer issues, shading, and more, including detailed algorithms.
    • Domain knowledge in the broader field of energy, encompassing areas such as weather prediction and power forecasting to support energy trading in specific countries.
    • Proficiency in data analysis for solar, similar to the capabilities mentioned for wind above.
