The Regional Business Development Manager works closely with country and regional sales, business development and marketing to plan and develop strategy for new business expansion (Disruptive Business).

The new business expansion covers IT and IT/OT Services such as ERP, IIoT/Cloud, Asset Management, AI/ML, Sustainability and Cybersecurity. This role is responsible for supporting country sales and marketing to drive a pipeline opportunity through prospecting, pre-qualifying leads, setting discovery meeting, following-up and commercial proposal

The Key focus business/services area includes:

  • Industrial IoT (IIoT), Asset Performance Management (APM), AI-ML Services, MES
  • OT-IT Integration
  • ERP Systems (SAP, Dynamic 365). Collaborate with Internal SAP/Dynamic 365 SME/expert.
  • Collaborate with Internal Cybersecurity SME/expert.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Business Expansion strategy for assigned countries and region.
  • Support regional sales and business development to plan the implementation of business expansion for sustainable growth through maximizing recuring business.
  • Drive pipeline growth through integrated promotional activities with the support from global team
  • Support Country Marketing to promote the services through workshop, marketing campaign & promotion and other marketing activities to generate lead.
  • Understand customer needs and strategies the approach in agile manner for faster return and revenue generation.
  • Conduct discovery workshop with support from global team
  • Build relationship for business interaction with cross functional team
  • Involve on technical and commercial Proposal to identify the scope, risk, T&C and pricing with the support from proposal/bid team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partner to increase the value selling proposition to customers.
  • Drive cross selling business with Internal Business Partner.
  • Manage key information exchange between the company and IT partners on sales and business update and vice versa.

Requirements:

  • Degree in relevant discipline with min 5 years in Business Development, Program Management, and/or Stakeholder management in OT/IT products and/or system integration business
  • Good narrator with strong ability to put technology, like SAP/ERP systems, Asset Performance Management, OT-IT integration, cybersecurity to influence customer when competing against competitors.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management in multinational team across diverse background, cultures and time zones
  • Strong network with C level people to support country sales to drive the order closer
  • Excellent presentation skill and customer centric
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to present and influence customer fluently.
  • Demonstrated experience with the entire Business Management Lifecycle (engagement of stakeholders, multiple team environment, top down and bottom up, deal breaker resolution)
  • Strong experience in selling and delivering IT and OT/IT services, for example Asset Performance Management, Energy Management know how to position the solution in the market
  • Strong experience in recurring business model and Cloud business
  • Experience direct dealing with End user as well as channel partner
  • Highly multi-tasking with the ability to quickly adapt and learning agility.
  • Ability to thrive on fast-paced and agile environment.
