As the Country Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business in the country, driving sales, and ensuring the successful implementation of the strategic marketing and product initiatives. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the Thai market and a proven track record of achieving business growth and operational excellence.
- Business Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to achieve the Company’s business objectives in Thailand. Develop and implement business plans, sales strategies, and product marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Set ambitious goals for the Thailand team and provide guidance and support to achieve them.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships to expand the Company’s presence in the Thai market.
- Lead the sales team in acquiring new customers and managing existing accounts to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
- Market Understanding and Analysis:
- Conduct market research and analysis to gain insights into customer needs, preferences, and behavior.
- Utilize market intelligence to make informed decisions and create targeted marketing campaigns.
- Team Management and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members and other departments.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government agencies.
- Represent the Company in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the brand and expand the Company network.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Country Manager or in a similar senior management position.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Thai market, including industrial automation, solutions IT selling and related sectors.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving business growth targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for developing and motivating teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently, make strategic decisions, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Thai.
- This is a start-up environment and he/she will be operating with a lean team at the initial stage.
