Sustainability Consultant (Global Role)

This is a pivotal role responsible for providing end-to-end technical and pre-sales support with deep expertise in the field of Energy and Sustainability. This role involves understanding customer use cases and business requirements, translating them into technical functional requirements, devising consulting strategies encompassing KPIs, value propositions, ROI calculations, architecture, hardware requirements, and partnerships. The Consultant will play a crucial role in promoting the unique value proposition to enhance the chances of winning business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed financial targets for order intake in Energy and Sustainability.
  • Drive the adoption of the Company’s AOIT (Advanced Optimization and Innovative Technologies) services within Sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional sales and partner teams to identify and pursue energy and sustainability opportunities.
  • Develop customized sustainability strategies and roadmaps tailored to customer needs.
  • Create persuasive sales materials that highlight the value propositions, differentiators, and ROI based on customer use cases.
  • Conduct comprehensive energy assessments and environmental impact analysis.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial inquiry to project completion.
  • Research and assess a company’s environmental impact, including carbon footprint, energy consumption, water use, waste generation, and air quality.
  • Identify areas for optimization in energy usage and define ROI to justify customer budget allocation for the Company services.
  • Promote SaaS recurring business models with Sustainability services.
  • Develop a proposal template for regional proposal teams to support local sales and pre-sales activities.
  • Conduct workshops and presentations to enhance the Company’s visibility in the Renewable Energy sector and expand the opportunity pipeline.
  • Perform visibility analysis, risk assessments, and implementation strategies.
  • Provide regular training to sales and proposal teams in the region.
  • Support customers in achieving Sustainability certifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and certification as a Certified COSIRI Assessor (CCA) with a preference for certification in Energy.
  • A proven track record of prior experience in a similar field is essential.
  • In-depth expertise in Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 strategies, and an ability to offer end-to-end consultancy.
  • Strong domain knowledge of Energy and Carbon Footprint.
  • Technical proficiency with energy equipment affecting carbon footprint.
  • A well-established global partner network for Decarbonization efforts.
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape in Energy and Sustainability and the ability to position strategically for success.
  • Proactive approach to contributing to specification writing and enhancing winning opportunities for the Company’s portfolio.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly in the Renewable Energy sector.
  • Knowledgeable about risk strategies and industrial code standards for renewable energy.
  • Innovative and creative thinking to adapt to dynamic changes.
