Country Manager    

As the Country Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business in the country, driving sales, and ensuring the successful implementation of the strategic marketing and product initiatives. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the Thai market and a proven track record of achieving business growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Business Leadership:
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership to achieve the Company’s business objectives in Thailand.  Develop and implement business plans, sales strategies, and product marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth and market share.
    • Set ambitious goals for the Thailand team and provide guidance and support to achieve them.
  2. Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships to expand the Company’s presence in the Thai market.
    • Lead the sales team in acquiring new customers and managing existing accounts to achieve sales targets.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
  3. Market Understanding and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research and analysis to gain insights into customer needs, preferences, and behavior.
    • Utilize market intelligence to make informed decisions and create targeted marketing campaigns.
  4. Team Management and Development:
    • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
    • Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members and other departments.
  5. Financial Management:
    • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.
    • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and reporting standards.
  6. Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government agencies.
    • Represent the Company in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the brand and expand the Company network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Country Manager or in a similar senior management position.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Thai market, including industrial automation, solutions IT selling and related sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving business growth targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for developing and motivating teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, make strategic decisions, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Thai.
  • This is a start-up environment and he/she will be operating with a lean team at the initial stage.

Regional Business Development Manager – South America

The Regional Business Development Manager collaborates closely with country and regional sales, business development, and marketing teams to strategize and formulate sales and go-to-market strategies for new business expansion initiatives (Disruptive Business). This position entails supporting regional sales and marketing efforts to cultivate pipeline opportunities by engaging in prospecting, pre-qualifying leads, scheduling discovery meetings, conducting follow-ups, and preparing commercial proposals.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop Business Expansion and go-to-market strategy for assigned countries and regions in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Support regional sales and business development to plan the implementation of business expansion for sustainable growth, with a focus on maximizing recurring business.
  • Introduce new customers in key focus areas and drive pipeline growth through integrated promotional activities with support from regional and global teams.
  • Understand customer needs and strategize approaches in an agile manner for faster returns and revenue generation.
  • Identify decision-makers, competitive pricing, and positioning strategies to win against competitors.
  • Foster relationships with local sales teams for seamless business interaction across cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to technical and commercial proposals by identifying scope, risks, terms & conditions, and pricing with support from the proposal/bid team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance the value proposition for customers.
  • Drive cross-selling opportunities with external partners as well as the business partners.
  • Manage key information exchange between the Company and IT partners regarding sales and business updates.

Requirements: 

  • Strong customer network and relationships with decision-makers in key focus areas.
  • Extensive experience in incremental business growth, particularly in IIoT/Asset Management services within startup environments.
  • Robust partner network to support turnkey delivery, including pre-sales and delivery support.
  • Proven track record in recurring business models such as SaaS, including pricing approaches, market benchmarking, and growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management within multinational teams across diverse backgrounds, cultures, and time zones.
  • Effective communicator with strong negotiation skills, capable of presenting and influencing customers fluently.
  • Proficiency in managing the entire business management lifecycle, engaging stakeholders, navigating multiple team environments, and resolving deal-breaking issues.
  • Highly adaptable with strong multitasking abilities and a commitment to continuous learning and agility.
